OSTANKINO TOWER SHOW 2017

The annual international skyscrapers summit that brought together all representatives of the association was held in Moscow in the year of the 50th anniversary of Ostankino Tower. That event was in the same dates with the Circle of Light Moscow International Festival. Also in 2017 the world celebrated the Year of Ecology. Those topics formed the basis of the Circle of Light Opening Show.

During the Opening Show of the Circle of Light Festival the audience enjoyed a real road movie with the most famous world skyscrapers. Festival goers went on a big trip around the world, visited the most beautiful places on the planet and it showed beauty and fragility of nature.

Every skyscraper represented its own region and the show performed one natural miracle that this region is famous for. So the part of the show of Burj Khalifa Tower performed such a natural miracle as the desert. The famous Empire State Building gave the audience an excursion to Yellowstone National Park and the Eiffel Tower accompanied to romantic lavender fields.

Each and every skyscraper and every natural miracle seemed to be alive and showed up in front of the audience with the help of a variety of light and fiery instruments placed on the site.

The show was held on banks of Ostankino Pond. Large-scale and spectacular video projections were shown on Ostankino TV Tower as well as on a special structure that was installed on the shore. Fountains, lighting equipment, flame jets and pyrotechnic charges were located on the water surface. All spectacular tools were synchronized and they created incredible multi-dimensional effects, immersing people in exciting stories and giving them breathtaking emotions.

A special surprise for the audience was the performance of famous skaters on the ice arena that was also placed on water surface.

The skaters' acts were thought out and written into the script, every performance was a part of a common script and one story. For example, a couple in love from the show about France and lavender fields seemed to be moved onto the ice and told the story of their love using the language of the dance.

During the multimedia show pyrotechnic charges were used, they became special emphases of the whole performance as well as made it more spectacular. In the final the audience amazed by a gorgeous firework display from Ostankino Tower; for 15 minutes fantastic shells showed up in the sky and followed by the world famous music hits.
